It is not necessary to have had experience with horses
Equine Facilitated Learning has become very popular. It can help to control anxiety. It will also increase confidence levels, overcome fears and set appropriate boundaries. Therefore, helping you to become more mindful toward yourself and others.
These are great life skills.

 Why Horses?

Horses are prey animals with highly tuned senses. Thus, they are able to assess and react to situations quickly. Horses are incredibly sensitive to the feelings, emotions and intent of those around them. Therefore, they will mirror your feelings. This enables you to see yourselves more clearly, therefore, promoting change from within.

What will I learn from the Horses?

The ability to recognise and control anxiety levels.
Setting up your own personal space and putting comfortable, safe boundaries in place.
Body language and reading others.
Becoming conscious of your breathing and how it affects your energy and emotions.
How to raise and lower your personal energy levels to communicate more fluently.
Learning to trust in your own abilities to overcome obstacles.
Horses communicate through body language and energy. Observing a herd can teach us a lot.
The day begins by getting to know each other and setting goals.
There will be a short meditation for grounding.
You will discover your own personal boundaries. This will help you to understand and also improve your way of communicating with others.
You will get a strong sense of self awareness.
The afternoon will be spent having fun with the horses in a safe environment.
Working as a team, to develop methods for overcoming obstacles to reach your goals.
