Accredited Equine Facilitated Learning diploma training.
At Horse Haven Uk we offer an in depth, 5 day practical training. The practical training is followed by ongoing support and mentoring.
Hotels, B&Bs and Air BnBs are now open and a list of local accommodation can be sent to you on request.
Due to the practical nature of our equine facilitated learning diploma previous students have left with the confidence to use the skills learned.
Suzannah developed the course, as a result of seeing many positive outcomes with clients from EFL taster days.
The diploma is accredited by the Institute of Animal Care Education.
The training is also approved and accredited with CPD (Continuing Professional Development). It carries 35 hours CPD.
Your diploma will entitle you to membership of ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists).
The HHUK diploma will also enable you to obtain insurance at a discounted price.

Suzannah is a qualified Hypnotherapist and Lead Trainer at Haven Hypnotherapy Academy. She is a Certified Kinetic Shift Practitioner and Master Practitioner of NLP (neuro linguistic programming). Suzannah has over 20 years experience as a therapist and has also trained in equine facilitated therapy.
The cost of the 5 day training is £1,050.00 and a non-refundable deposit of £250 is required on booking. The balance is due 4 weeks before commencement of the course. On successful completion of the diploma and due to the practical elements of the training we are sure you will be confident and competent in your ability to use the skills learned to help others.

Well! What can I say about this place? I went on an EFL course taking all of my baggage with me, trust me I have a lot!! I was greeted with so much love and support from both human and equine that I came away a very different person indeed. Cannot praise them enough and cannot recommend them highly enough either! The horses are amazingly happy and relaxed, always ready to help the needy and sometimes when the needy don’t even know they are needy!! I am not a people person but I would happily spend the rest of my life in the company of the Horsehaven crew because there is absolutely no judgement or pressure, when I was ready, they were waiting with kindness and love. I will be going back!!
Beautifully trained horses and professional tutors.
Lots of individual attention and plenty of practical assessments. Treated to a scrummy lunch everyday. I have taken many skills away with me and can now have the confidence to apply them. Well recommended
I had been looking for a year to find a non commercial, no nonsense EFL course which was also affordable and this course was recommended from people who work in the EFL field. The team at Horse Haven were very supportive and were determined to make it work for everyone. I also enjoyed some one to one coaching time with David and Suzannah and could not have felt in safer hands. The horses were lovely to work with and the team have the well being of the horses as a priority. As a total bonus the home made lunches were just lovely. Give them a call. Don’t hesitate.
