Horse & Carriage 2 Day Experience

31st July and 1st August in Somerset, near Glastonbury.  2 days experiencing the fun of driving a horse and carriage on the safety of our track system here at Horse Haven Uk.

The Horse & Carriage 2 day experience is limited to 2 people in order that there is plenty of hands on experience.

Your tutor for the 2 days is David Taylor. David has a wealth of experience, is an excellent horseman and takes excellent care of the herd here at Horse Haven Uk. David is a qualified driving instructor having trained in the army so you will be in safe, capable hands.

What Will I Learn?

 You will learn all the parts of the harness and how to tack up.  How to put the horse to the cart safely.  You will experience the role of driving, manoeuvring the carriage around obstacles and the very important role of the groom.

Horse & Carriage 2 day experience is a super fun 2 days where you will discover the joys of driving and if indeed, it is for you.

Ongoing support and advice is available after the 2 days should you wish to take this further.

We limit this experience to just 2 people to ensure that both participants get the maximum out of the 2 days and no one is left waiting for their turn. You get to experience the role of both driver and groom.  Both vitally important.
