Introduction to driving a Horse & Carriage

5th September 2020 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

£125.00

Our introduction to driving a horse & carriage is back due to popular demand.

David Taylor has joined the Horse Haven Uk team.  Dave is a qualified driving instructor having trained in the Army and will be your instructor for the day.

Gift vouchers are available for this workshop and make an ideal present.

What to Expect on the Day:

The introduction to driving a horse & carriage will give you an idea of how it feels to drive a horse, learn about tacking up and safely putting the horse to the  carriage.

The day is restricted to 4 participants in order that everyone gets plenty of driving experience.

David will be by your side at all times and the driving takes place on the safety of our track system so no need to worry about traffic.

This introduction day will give you an idea if you like driving and feel you would like to learn more.

For those that wish to go further we offer a 3 day driving activity holiday. Starting on the track here and finishing up with a road trip.  The 3 day driving activity holiday is available for a maximum of  3 participants, so ideal for a group of  friends, couple or family.

What You Need to Bring:

Warm clothing depending on weather.  Suitable footwear and a packed lunch.

To book on this workshop go to store, click workshops and reserve your place.

Alternatively if you would like to give this as a gift , go to store and select gift voucher.
