Introduction to Zoopharmacognosy for Horses
4th April 2020 @ 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
£95.00
At Horse Haven Uk we are so pleased to offer this introduction to zoopharmacognosy for horses.
Mike Griffiths is the facilitator for this 1 day workshop and we are very happy to welcome him here.
Mike Griffiths qualified as a “Zoopharmacognosy Practitioner over 8 years ago.
He trained in applied zoopharmacognosy with Caroline Ingraham, developer of the therapy and founder of the Ingraham Academy. Mike is qualified to practice across all species, not just horses.
Mike has been a healer for many years.
He then went on to study energy healing with Elizabeth Whiter, for both humans and animals. He is a member of the Healing Animals Organisation.
Mike is also qualified in “Equine Massage”. So, a man of many skills.
Zoopharmacognosy is a fascinating subject and demonstrates animals’ ability for self-selection. They seem to know what they need to self-medicate. In the wild they will naturally forage for the herbs and minerals they require.
The term zoopharmacognosy is from Ancient Greek and can be broken down as follows: ‘zoo’ (animal), ‘pharmaco’ (remedy) and ‘gnosy’ (knowing).
Mike has kindly agreed to come along to Horse Haven Uk in Somerset to facilitate this workshop.
Below is an outline of what to expect on the day. Mike will be giving hand outs and has told me that at the end of the day you will be able to offer a basic session to your own horses.
