Leon the gypsy cob came to us as a 3 year old and had spent his time in a large mixed herd. He was very shy and would not come near us. He would hide behind others in the herd but over time became curious and would allow us to get a bit closer.

After a few months on the yard in a very bad winter he became braver each day and eventually he would be the first to come to the gate.

He is very agile and now enjoys human company. He has never been bitted and is ridden in a bitless bridle. He has never been shod either but like the others has his feet  checked regularly by our barefoot trimmer. Leon is a very sensitive horse and is amazing as a therapy horse on  our Equine Facilitated Learning workshops.

He is a magical being and we love him very much.
