Introduction to Equine Assisted Learning
August 29 @ 10:30 am - 4:30 pm£95.00
Our Introduction to Equine Assisted Learning on Sunday 29th August 2021 is an excellent workshop for self-development.
It is not necessary to have had experience with horses and there is no riding involved.
Do you feel you would like more confidence?
Gain an understanding of body language and learn to communicate more clearly?
How about setting some goals and working toward them?
The equine facilitated learning 1-day workshop will give great insight into yourself.
What will I learn?
Introduction to Equine Assisted Learning will show you how horses can help people.
The ability to recognise and control anxiety levels.
Setting up your own personal space and putting comfortable, safe boundaries in place.
Body language and reading others.
Becoming conscious of your breathing and how it affects your energy and emotions.
How to raise and lower your personal energy levels to communicate more fluently.
Learning to trust in your own abilities to overcome obstacles.
Achieve a greater sense of self awareness.
Horses are prey animals with highly tuned senses. Thus, they are able to assess and react to situations quickly.
Horses are incredibly sensitive to the feelings, emotions and intent of those around them. Therefore, they will mirror your feelings.
This enables you to see yourselves more clearly and promote change from within.
Horses communicate through body language and energy. Observing a herd can teach us a lot.
Introduction to Equine Assisted Learning will give you an understanding of how horses can be therapeutic to people.
What do I Need to Bring?
Warm layers of clothing, sensible footwear and a waterproof in case of inclement weather.
Vegetarian lunch is provided and refreshments available throughout the day.

Such an amazing day today with the horses learning about myself. A great team. We can learn so much from these beautiful animals. Veronica
A haven of calm, the perfect place to learn that working with horses is good for the soul. Pam
Spent a lovely day taking part in the Equine assisted learning day, 26th June. For me it was a great confidence boost after being away from horses for many years. Looking forward to returning for another workshop. Elizabeth

Today I had the most amazing day on the equine assisted learning 1 day workshop. It has really helped me work through some confidence issues and I will forever be thankful to the team that worked with us today. Not only am I now more confident in the presence of horses but I feel I have more confidence to pursue the career I want and put myself forward for opportunities that in the past I would shy away from. I would highly suggest this workshop for anyone that is lacking confidence be it with horses or anything else. Naomi
I had a lifelong fear of being near horses. Within a matter of a few hours of being at this amazing place it was dispelled! The team are all warm, patient and genuine people. I attended a one day workshop Equine…Confidence & Goal Setting. It was definitely one of the best days of my life. I lost sense of time as soon as I was able to be around the horses. Suzannah made me feel instantly welcome the moment we drove through the gates. I felt safe around the horses and I loved the fact everyone was so patient even though I did blub like a wimp a few times! I learned so much about body language and energy within myself and the herd. Suzannah cooks an awesome veggie lunch and it was good to sit together and chat about the horses and relax for a bit. The horses are gorgeous, happy and healthy and an absolute joy to be around. I can honestly say I thought my heart was going to burst with the amount of love the horses filled it up with. Magical…totally magical. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to overcome any fear of horses. I can’t wait to book in again on other courses. Thank you, team Horse Haven xxx,Hayley
It is the most tranquil place you could ever hope to come upon. From the humans to the animals it is simply Divine. I was lucky enough to have participated in an equine assisted learning workshop and it literally changed my life. The whole dynamic of the area is so uplifting. If you are thinking of a visit do it, if you haven’t contemplated a visit, please do it. You will not be disappointed. I don’t bandy the word magical about lightly, but this place has its own natural magic. Visit soon. Kath

Lovely to meet great people who have had to think outside the box to make an amazing place. You will come away thinking anything is possible. Rachael
